Each entrant is limited to 2 entries.

Entry Acceptance Rules

Each entry will consist of 2 x 12 ounce capped bottles that are void of all identifying information, including labels and embossing. Printed caps are allowed, but must be blacked out completely. Bombers (22 oz.) and swing top bottles are not accepted.

Bottles will not be returned to contest entrants.

Completed entry forms and recipe sheets must be submitted with all entries, and can be printed directly from this website. Entry forms should be attached to bottles with a rubber band only; glue and/or tape are unacceptable and will be rejected.

Please fill out the entry forms completely. Be meticulous about noting any special ingredients that must be specified. Failure to note such ingredients may impact the judges' scoring of your entry and may become ineligible for prices.

Must be able to provide full ingredient list to Scorpion Brewing Company for grand prize.

Ribbons are awarded for position 1, 2, 3 for each table. Tables may consist of multiple styles and is decided by the organization.

Best of Show

Grand Prize: Guest Brew your beer at Scorpion Brewing, guest serve it at the Scorpion Brewing Tasting room, design your own CNC tap handle that will be used at the tasting room and then yours to keep for your tasting room. The winning beer will be served next year at the competition.

Scoresheets will be posted on the website a few days after the competition.



The Judging takes place Saturday Morning April 7th and is not open to the public. The awards ceremony will take place the same day and is open to the public starting at 2.30pm.

Ribbons will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each category/table.

The 1st place entry in each category (or grouped table) will advance to the Best of Show (BOS) round with a single, overall Best of Show beer selected.

Additional prizes may be awarded to those winners present at the awards ceremony at the discretion of the competition organizers.

Awards will be available for pick up at Scorpion Brewing Company that day after the ceremony concludes. Awards not picked up will NOT be mailed back to participants. Results will be posted to the competition web site within 48 hours after the ceremony concludes.
